Project Restore

YWCA program staff act as advocates and communication resources for families that have been identified with facing decisions for Juvenile interventions; specifically RESTORE for their child. The staff of YWCA Lincoln will work collaboratively with RESTORE case managers, juvenile court, and school administrators to ensure family connections are made and they have adequate information to make the best decision for their child. Funding for this request will reduce the number of African American families that decline RESTORE as an option for their family, thusly reducing the racial and ethnic disparity of African American youth entering the juvenile justice system. RESTORE families are referred to the program.
