Nebraska's own Symone Sanders will be kicking off the our 2nd annual Policy Summit! Ms. Sanders grew up in Omaha and graduated from Creighton University before going on to serve as the national press secretary for the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Ms. Sanders now continues her work as a political strategist and commentator on CNN. She is a fearless woman, unafraid to speak her mind or truth to power. She is a strong voice for women and girls, and we are thrilled that she will spend some time sharing her stories, experiences, and opinions with us.

What to expect:

-Participate in breakout sessions to discuss major issues impacting our community and how to take action.

-Influence decisions about where our lawmakers should focus efforts – from protecting access to family planning and Title X, to promoting better sexual health education in public schools.

-Hold our elected officials accountable on the issues that matter most to our community.
