The 5-week Public Speaking Circle will be held Sundays from 1pm-3pm, at the YWCA offices at 2620 O St., starting January 26th, 2014. Our program instructor is Clayton Johnson. Clayton is the former Director of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Speech and Debate Team and has over 15 years of experience in teaching public speaking at the university level. Participants will discuss and practice the basic principles of public speaking, including how to prepare and deliver oral presentations, adapt to audiences, and overcome stage fright. Registration is $125.
