 s to join us in a week-long fun summer science camp! SciGirls is a PBS tel
 evision show that is funded by the National Science Foundation. There are 
 currently 5 seasons you can stream on-demand. This specific program cycle 
 will be season number 7. There are 16 national parks participating in this
  program that collaborates with girl-serving organizations. The program th
 eme is citizen science and gender equity. Citizen science is the practice 
 of public participation and collaboration in scientific research to increa
 se scientific knowledge. Through citizen science\, people share and contri
 bute to data monitoring and collection programs (National Geographic Socie
 ty).
