The Respite Network’s Youth Respite Providers program is seeking energetic, helpful youth, 14-18 years of age, to help families care for children/adults with special needs!

 

¨         Learn about diversity

 

¨         Acquire valuable experience

 

¨         Gain insight within yourself

 

¨         Role model the importance of service to others

 

Qualifications:

¨          Age: 14-18

 

Goals:

¨         Reduce stress on families

 

¨         Provide a chance for children/adults with special needs to meet and spend time with responsible youth

 

¨         Enable caregivers to take care of themselves (I.e., spend time with siblings, take a nap, read a book, go shopping, just relax and re-energize.)
