Civics Academy

Hosted by the Women's Foundation, in partnership with the YWCA and Nebraska Appleseed, the Civics Academy is an opportunity to learn about the basics of government organization and how to become involved in the community. We'll discuss how the City Council, School Board, County Board and State Legislature work and hear from representatives in each group. This program also offers an introduction to becoming involved and finding a voice.
